How does HireArchitects work?

Tell us the role, software and hours you need on a 20-minute call. We send a shortlist of three vetted candidates with work samples within 24 hours, you interview them directly, and your hire starts within days. We handle contracts, payments and compliance.

What types of professionals can I hire through HireArchitects?

You can hire construction estimators, quantity takeoff specialists, preconstruction coordinators and construction schedulers; draftspersons, architectural drafters, CAD drafters, structural drafters, Revit technicians, BIM modelers and BIM coordinators; architects, architectural designers and MEP designers; and construction project managers.

How much does it cost?

Full-time remote hires start from $1,999 a month for draftspersons and CAD drafters and go up to around $3,500 a month for senior architects and project managers, with estimators, BIM and design roles in between. You pay one monthly rate, with no placement fee, payroll or benefits on top. See our pricing page for details.

How do you vet professionals before I see them?

Every candidate is interviewed, checked for spoken and written English, and given a practical test for their role: a takeoff for estimators, a markup set for draftspersons, a design or documentation exercise for architects, and a schedule or RFI exercise for PMs. We also review portfolios and past experience.

Can I interview candidates myself?

Yes. You interview every shortlisted candidate directly and can set a paid test project before you decide. You only hire the people you choose.

Do they work US hours?

Yes. Our professionals are based in Latin America, within one to three hours of US time zones, and usually keep full US business hours so they join meetings, bid reviews and site calls live.

Do they understand US codes and construction methods?

Our professionals have worked on US projects and understand US construction methods, imperial units, CSI divisions and IBC/IRC requirements. Code sign-off and stamping stay with your licensed architect or engineer of record.

Can I hire part-time?

Yes. Many firms start with a part-time draftsperson or estimator and move to full-time once the workflow is proven. There is no long-term contract, so you can scale hours up or down.

What if a hire is not working out?

Tell us and we will shortlist replacement candidates. There is no long-term commitment, so you can also cancel at any time.

Who provides software licences?

Usually your firm does: most clients give their remote hire a seat on AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Procore or their takeoff software so files stay in their systems. Some professionals hold their own licences; we can confirm on the call.
